Coastal Textures is a series inspired by the restless edge where land meets sea. Each piece is built in layers—plaster, sand, pigment, and found shoreline elements—so the surface holds the same weathered depth you find in tidal rock, dune grass, and sun-bleached driftwood. The palette stays close to nature: soft sea-glass greens, misted blues, chalky whites, and the warm neutrals of salt and stone.

These works are meant to be felt as much as seen. Ridges, grooves, and subtle fissures catch changing light like ripples across the bay, shifting with the time of day and the viewer’s angle. Rather than depict a single scene, the textures suggest moments—low tide revealing hidden patterns, wind tracing lines in sand, foam receding and leaving lace.

Calm and tactile, the collection invites slow looking and quiet breathing. It brings the coast indoors not through literal horizons, but through material memory—the pull of the tide, the patience of erosion, and the gentle, enduring rhythm of water on shore.
